🏈🏈FOOTBALL GAME ALERT!!!!🏈🏈

Our WARRIORS will take on the Indian Valley Braves (Gnadenhutten) on November 6 at Community Field at 7 p.m.

The Braves are 3-3 on the season and take on John Glenn High School this Friday night.

Despite being knocked out of the playoffs teams are allowed to still schedule games up until November 14.

🏈🏈WARRIOR PLAYOFF GAME TONIGHT!

Tonight our WARRIORS take on the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs on the road at 7 pm.

There are two confirmed ways to see or hear the game. Bloom-Carroll will have a YouTube broadcast of the game without sound. Also, Q92 will broadcast the game over radio through their website under the sports tab.

Our booster club page last week and this week have received a lot of contacts from pages claiming to be broadcasting the game live. These are scams, DO NOT give them any information. We have reached out to see what the official broadcasts are and there are only the two listed above.

1000 YARDS RUSHING!!!!!!

Saturday night at Marion-Franklin, WARRIOR running back Chase Oehlstrom rushed for 109 yards which gave him 1104 yards rushing on the season. In a COVID shortened season Chase has still been able to accumulate over 1000 yards on the ground!

Minerva was the only game this year that he did not rush for over 100 yards.

The WARRIORS haven’t had a 1000 yard rusher since Chase Flanagan rushed for 1083 yards in 2016. Chase is currently ranked fifth in school history for most rushing yards in a season behind Alex Bolmgren (2004) with 1170 yards.

**FYI- Chase has 16 touchdowns on the season which ties him for 3rd in school history for rushing touchdowns in a season with Ron Pritchard (1973).***

This week our WARRIORS move on to the third round of the OHSAA State Playoffs. They will be on the road taking on the Bloom-Carroll High School Bulldogs from Carroll, Ohio.

The Bulldogs are 6-0 on the season and they are coached by Wade Bartholomew:

The game is Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m., at the time of kick-off the Bulldogs will bot have played a live game in three weeks. Their defense has only given up 28 points on the season. This should be a good test for the WARRIOR offense.
