West GYSTC had a rootin’ tootin’ good day of learning with the amazing 1st graders at Burnt Hickory Elementary!

We dug into the parts of a plant and discovered how each part has an important job—from roots to stems, leaves to flowers, and everything in between!

These young scientists were busy observing, investigating, asking questions, and growing their science knowledge!
