Brothers Cup of Wisdom ☕️

We recently held a Cup of Wisdom conversation amongst brothers hosted by Wisdom Academy and Shield Families ( ) where Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi ( ) discussed the role of a man as a husband, as well as a father, in the marriage and family. The session began with surveying the attendees about their opinions and concerns, followed by a conversation on the results. The session ended with congregational prayer.

Students not only learn about the wonders of science, but also connect deeply with the awe-inspiring beauty of God’s creation, forging a profound bond between their academic pursuits and their spiritual journey. 🔬🧪📖

Our little ones are on a mission to conquer the world of knowledge! 🌎💪 They’re fully immersed in their sensitive periods, soaking up every experience and mastering new skills every day. With a little repetition and a lot of love, we’re helping them build a solid foundation for their bright futures!

A few weeks ago, we held our annual Mother’s Day breakfast in honor of Lady Fatimah’s (ع) birth anniversary. The upper school students recited verses from the Noble Qur’an and shared narrations about motherhood in Islam, while the primary students recited a touching hymn. Shaykh Mohammad Al-Saadi ( ) also shared inspiring words with the attendees. The event was a beautiful display of love and appreciation for the vital role that mothers play in our lives. 💐💗

Our elementary students recently held an end-of-the-year memorial in honor of the oppressed Palestinians. The solemn ceremony began with recitations from the Noble Qur’an, followed by a moving poem and displays of artwork by our talented students. The program concluded with a brief talk delivered by Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi and Duʿāʾ al-Faraj, a supplication earnestly praying for the protection and hastening of the reappearance of the Awaited Savior. The memorial was a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggles faced by the oppressed and a testament to our school’s commitment to fostering a culture of remembrance and compassion.

A few weeks ago, Wisdom Academy held its first Parent Education session of the academic year. The session was graced by the presence of Sr. Zainab Sabir, a Child-Centered Play therapist, who delivered an insightful talk on creating and fostering an attuned and healthy relationship with one’s child. Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi also spoke to the parents present on the importance of building and maintaining a healthy marital relationship and its vital role in effective parenting.

We would like to thank Sayyid Jawad Wahedi for honoring us with his presence at Wisdom Academy where he spent some time with the Primary students reading and discussing “Mama Shamsi at the Bazaar.”

Primary school memories that last a lifetime! 🍕❤️ Alhamdu li’llāh for God’s blessings including the food, joy, and laughter shared during our pizza party.

The Taklīf Ceremony is a significant event in the life of a Muslim girl, highlighting when God deems her to be capable of being responsible before Him.
