The Pickens County Board of Education is proud to announce Jeff Campbell as Superintendent of Pickens County Schools.
A 2000 graduate of Gordo High School, Mr. Campbell brings more than 20 years of experience in public education and a strong connection to the community he now serves. His career has included teaching and administrative leadership at both the elementary and high school levels, most recently serving as principal of Gordo High School and previously as principal of Gordo Elementary School and Northport Elementary School.
Throughout his career, Mr. Campbell has remained committed to academic growth, positive school culture and creating opportunities for students. Under his leadership, both Gordo Elementary and Northport Elementary earned “A” ratings on the Alabama State Report Card, while Gordo High School improved its report card score and expanded academic and extracurricular opportunities during his first year leading the school.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve Pickens County Schools in this role,” Campbell said. “I love this school system and the people who make it special. I look forward to working alongside our students, employees, families and communities as we continue building strong schools and creating opportunities for every student to succeed.”
