Yesterday Davis celebrated the Lunar New Year! Lunar New Year is the beginning of the new year based on Lunar calendar’s. 2025 is the year of the snake which is a sign of wisdom, intuition, and transformation!

This past Saturday Davis Elementary proudly honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by participating in Carrollton’s 31st annual MLK Jr. parade. Thank you to our Student Council, families, staff, and the Multicultural Committee for coming together to celebrate unity, equality, and service. We are so grateful to be part of such an incredible Davis community! Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Due to anticipated inclement weather and dangerous road conditions, all Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Jan. 9, and Friday, Jan. 10. All after-school activities and events are canceled.

Last week Davis held their annual 3rd-5th Grade Spanish Spelling Bee! 🐝

🎉 What an incredible morning with our Strong Fathers Math Morning! Our Dolphin Dads and Dad figures showed up big, learning fun math games to play with their students and taking home kits to keep the learning going. 📚➕ It was a morning full of smiles, high-fives, and family fun! Thank you to all who joined and made this event a success! 🐬💙

Davis’ favorite time of the year is finally here, CHRISTMAS TIME!!! To start off the season we held a friendly competition of peppermint in your pocket. Congrats to the winners! 🎄
