Our Learning Unit this week - FEELINGS!!
We’re using the children’s book “The Color Monster “ to lead our activities and play.
Today we explored which feeling could help turn the Angry Monster (Red) into a Calm Monster (Green).
Using science (baking soda monsters), we tried Calm (green water) and Sad (blue water) to dissolve away anger - they didn’t work.
Then we tried Happy (yellow vinegar) and before our eyes, anger melted away and became calm !!!

Our Learning Unit this week - “All About Me!!!”
We used our sensory, fine motor, language, and spatial awareness skills to make Fruity Faces for snack - delicious and healthy !!!!
Our Clifton Kids did an amazing job.

Our Clifton Kids were world Travelers this week …. We visited Germany. Made Alpine Hats and taste tested pretzels.
During our visit to Norway we learned about Vikings and fjords. We used our creative skills to make Viking helmets and Viking boats at sunrise, and we taste tested Stroopwafels.
Australia was fun … we made koala bears, learned that they love to eat eucalyptus leaves, and enjoyed an Australian favorite - Vegemite.
Next stop - Israel. We enjoyed a game of Dreidel, taste tested Matzos and created the Israeli flag with a little salt painting.
Our final stop on this years world tour … Greece!! We created mosaic Greek vases using paint and paper, used our math skills to match Greek vases and build Ancient Greek puzzles and we taste tested feta cheese.
We’re all safely back home now and can’t wait to see which countries next years “Around The World” Week has us visiting.

FAMILY 4TH JULY CELEBRATION

We wrapped up DINOSAUR WEEK by following some clues and going on a DINOSAUR HUNT 🦕🦕🦕
Our Pre K, Preschool, and 2’s classes did a great job solving the clues and freeing the dinosaurs!!!
A great way to practice our listening, comprehension and problem solving skills while having a ton of fun !!!!!
