We hosted our Pre K Graduation Breakfast this morning …. A new Clifton School tradition that replaces the graduation ceremony of years gone by.
It was casual, it was fun, and honored our graduate and her parents, her teacher and her classmates, in a fitting way.

Letting nature teach our kids cause and effect 🐇
We planted the seeds, watched them grow and now momma bunny has moved her babies into the middle of our sunflower patch.
We believe it’s important to instill a respect for the world around us, in our kids.

Our Learning Unit this week - “In The Garden” 🪴
Today was Worm Day …. Our Clifton Kids got to touch, examine and learn about earthworms.
Their lifecycle, what they eat, and why they are so good for our gardens.
We then released them into our grow box, to work their magic.
When children are given every opportunity to experience hands on learning - a lifelong love of learning develops.

Unplanned opportunities to learn are all around us 🐸
Today, while preparing our growing box for next week’s Learning Unit “In The Garden”, we met a new friend.
What a wonderful opportunity to study the toad, talk about why he might have chosen the bag of moist, cool soil to live in, and look at what he might have been finding to eat in that bag of soil 🐜🐛🕷️
