Gallery 2 serves as the primary gallery for students and is dedicated to the experimentation and development of student artists as they progress toward their professional careers. The 30-foot-long embroidered cloth depicts the events leading up to the 1066 Norman invasion of England, along with the invasion itself. Located throughout the campus grounds, the Sculpture on Campus Program includes rotating exhibitions of sculpture from some of the most exciting artists working today. The Department of Art Gallery Program, within the framework established by the University of West Georgia, is dedicated to serve as the main exhibition spaces for the department, university and community of West Georgia at large. All events are free and open to the public.
