This year, students from four CFBISD schools explored pivotal Texas historical sites, including the Alamo and the State Capitol. 🏛️ Thanks to Education in Action's "Discover Texas" field trips, these students witnessed these iconic landmarks firsthand.

CFBISD celebrated the top 100 sophomores at the annual Superintendent's Scholar Awards Ceremony. These students were the highest scoring across the district in the Preliminary SAT and National Merit Qualifying Tests. 🏅

The Creekview High School and Newman Smith High School dance companies recently performed at the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh, PA. Students had the opportunity to take master classes from world-renowned artists and experience extraordinary performances. 🎶

Hey CFB community! Don't miss Kacie's Run, the annual 5K run and 1-mile family fun run benefiting the CFB All Stars Special Olympics Team. 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️ The run will take place at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Standridge Stadium — 1330 W. Valwood Pkwy. Carrollton, Texas 75006.

This year, Kacie's Run is partnering with the City of Carrollton's Health and Safety Fair which will take place in the parking lot after the run.

A big congratulations to these R.L. Turner High School AMAT students! Their short film, 'Forest Feud,' won the 5A Digital Animation state championship at the UIL Film Festival in Austin. 🎥🏅 This is the second time that AMAT has received this honor.

Alumni Spotlight 🌟 featuring 2024 Creekview HS grad, Qanita Ali.

Qanita is a freshman at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), pursuing a degree in neuroscience and pre-med. She entered the university with a head start thanks to CFBISD’s dual credit program. Her strong academic record also scored her a full ride on a Terry Foundation scholarship.
