8th grade science students wrote their first CER (Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning) after conducting an experiment to test how adding weight affects the flight time and performance of paper helicopters.

In IPC class, the students are building an atom using the CPO Science Kit. They used the atom model, marbles, and the periodic table to learn about the different parts of an atom and understand how protons, neutrons, and electrons are arranged within an atom.

Second week of school is officially in the books! We’re showing off our team spirit with some awesome spirit wear, and even better, Dr. Collins, our principal, joined in on the fun by playing a friendly game of hoops with our students! It’s been a great week full of school spirit, smiles, and memories! Go team!
