Eid Mubarak y’all!

With love and appreciation, I would like to share that M***i has decided to move on from his time at Qalam.
His journey with Qalam has been one of steady service, sincerity, and lasting impact.
In every space he served, his focus remained the same: connecting hearts to knowledge and nurturing meaningful learning experiences.
Across every chapter of his time at Qalam, his efforts have been marked by presence, consistency, and genuine care for students. While his formal role is changing, the impact of his contributions will continue, insha’Allah.
He is not only a valued colleague, but also a dear brother and friend. We have shared many meaningful experiences together, including traveling, teaching, and performing Hajj and Umrah, and those moments will always be cherished. I am grateful for our time together and look forward to continuing our relationship and creating many more meaningful memories in the years ahead.
We ask Allah to accept from him, to place barakah in what lies ahead, and to continue to benefit others through him. Amin.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon.
Today, I received the very tragic news that one of our students, Hafidh Asif Azad, returned to Allah.
Our teachers would often remind us that sacred knowledge binds people together like family. People who may have otherwise never known one another become connected through their love for Allah, His Messenger, His Book, and their shared commitment to learning and living this tradition.
Because of that, when we lose one of our own, the loss is felt deeply.
Asif was a beloved student, a hafidh of the Qur’an, and a young man committed to his family, and deeply devoted to the Book of Allah.
We are heartbroken by his passing, but we place our hope in the mercy of Allah. That Allah called him back after a life connected to His Deen is something we pray is a sign of immense mercy for him.
May Allah envelop him in His mercy, elevate his rank among the people of the Qur’an in Al Firdaws, grant patience and strength to his family, and make his relationship with the Qur’an a sadaqah jariyah for him.
Please keep him and his family in your duas.
