Education: Kean University

Mr. Lehotzky took his love for working with kids and turned it into a rewarding teaching career. His hero is John Wayne. He loves the inclusion and support that defines ACMS.

Leslie Moncrief

Subject: 6th–8th Grade Athletics & PE

Education: University of North Texas

Coach Moncrief has called ACMS home for 18 years! Her hero is her Mimi, who taught middle school for 35 years! She loves the kids, staff, and admin that make every day rewarding.

Laurel Kroesch

Subject: 6th–8th Grade Choir

Education: University of North Texas

Ms. Kroesch was inspired by her own teachers to become an educator and loves making music with her students every day!

Stephen Bassford

Subject: 7th Grade and 8th Honors Science

Education: Texas Tech University

Mr. Bassford loves teaching hands-on labs and sharing his excitement for science with students. His hero is Bill Nye. He enjoys how eager ACMS students are to learn!

Trevor Oates

Subject: 7th Grade Texas History

Education: Oklahoma State University

Coach Oates was inspired to pursue education through the impact his own coaches had on his life. He enjoys the strong relationships and sense of community at Arbor Creek.

What makes this year even more special is the unique perspective ACMS Admin team has brought to the table. The picture perfectly represents that every administrator on the team had their own student on campus this year. That shared experience gave them an even deeper understanding of the importance of relationships, communication, trust, and creating the very best environment possible for every child who walks through our doors. Go Eagles! 🦅

A couple of weeks ago, our athletes participated in the Special Olympics, and we are still celebrating their incredible accomplishments! 💙

From outstanding sportsmanship to BIG wins, our students represented ACMS with determination, positivity, and heart. We could not be more proud of the way they competed and supported one another throughout the event. 🏅👏

Thank you to everyone who helped make the experience so special for our athletes. The memories and accomplishments from that day will stay with us for a long time!

Subject: Spanish Honors II, III & IV AP

Education: Instituto Tecnológico de Matehuala (Industrial Engineering); University of Cambridge (Teaching Certificate); University of Salamanca (Master’s in Spanish & Culture)

Ms. Tristan chose education to inspire students to embrace language learning and appreciate different cultures. She loves the people at Arbor Creek and the strong academic programs that support student growth and opportunity.

Ms. Martinez brings her passion for music into the classroom, helping students discover their own voice through orchestra. She appreciates how Arbor Creek values the fine arts and provides opportunities for students to shine.
