To the Alimiyyah graduates: Your real work begins now. The people you’ll encounter aren’t looking for perfection or complicated answers. They’re looking for authenticity. They want to see that your faith actually matters to you. That you live what you teach. That you approach them with genuine care, not arrogance. Be honest about what you don’t know. That’s strength, not weakness.
And understand that serving your deen doesn’t always look formal or grand. It happens in conversations with family, in community spaces, in the quiet acts of showing up. Don’t fall into the trap of measuring yourself against other teachers or leaders. Your path is uniquely yours. Be present where Allah ﷻ has placed you, and give everything you have to that place. May Allah ﷻ make you successful in every position you are in. Ameen.
