Are you traveling to present or conduct research between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2026? Then don't miss your window to request a Graduate Travel and Research Grant! The deadline to complete the form is this upcoming June 5.

Travel grants can be used to cover many of the costs that conferences incur. With a travel grant, you can be reimbursed up to $2,000 for certain travel costs.

We are thrilled to congratulate UWG Alumna Dr. Jessica M. Ainsworth ’06 ’16 as she has been named superintendent of Carroll County Schools.

She has accomplished incredible work in her 23-year career in education, including a master’s degree in special education, an EdD in school improvement, and further leadership certifications.

We are excited to see what she accomplishes in this new role. Congratulations, Dr. Ainsworth!
