The end of the year SHH Senior Banquet and Awards Dinner was an evening of celebration and recognition for our outstanding seniors. We couldn't be prouder of all they have accomplished!

So proud of Isabella Rangel (one of the newest members of our Spanish Honor Society Chapter) for serving the community and making connections.

Some of the Spanish II students took the National Spanish Exam last month. The NSE is an assessment competition for high school students (grades 9th-12th) taken by over 150,000 students nationwide. I am proud to say that our students earned collectively: 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze and 1 Honorable Mention.
Eden Arellano, who is a 6th grader, took the National Spanish Challenge, which is for middle school students and placed in the 98% nationwide earning him a gold ribbon/medal.
So proud of these students and congratulations to all of them!👏🏻

Today is formally known as the U.N. Spanish Language Day!

This annual celebration of one of the six official languages of the United Nations aims to promote and appreciate multi-linguism and the significance of Spanish culture in the world.
