As we continue discussing the district’s facility plan, we’ve heard some important questions from our community — including:
❓ Could we add onto Fairview for 3rd and 4th grade?
❓ Why are grade reconfigurations being proposed?
These are important questions, and we want to make sure our community has access to the information behind the proposed plan.
We’ve put together a detailed explanation addressing these questions, including information about:
-The options considered for housing 3rd and 4th grade
-Estimated costs of the different facility options
-Why the district is proposing an addition at Carroll High School rather than Fairview
-Why grade reconfigurations are being considered
-Research surrounding grade configuration and student outcomes
-What the proposed 7–12 campus would look like,
How the plan could impact facilities and learning environments across the district.
