JOIN US for a community meeting about the 2026 Bond Issue, which will be on the ballot during the November 3, 2026, General Election.

All are welcome! The meeting will include a brief presentation about the bond issue, followed by an opportunity for questions.

❓FAQ: What is CTE? And why does it matter for today’s students?

✅Answer: CTE stands for Career and Technical Education. CTE provides students with opportunities to develop career-related knowledge and skills through hands-on learning, technical coursework and career exploration. Programs can include areas such as agriculture, skilled trades, and other career fields.

For Carroll Community Schools, expanding CTE opportunities would provide students with additional space and resources to explore career interests, develop technical skills and gain experience connected to careers and postsecondary education.

❓FAQ: Does this bond issue impact traffic flow?

✅Answer: Yes. The bond project will require some changes to traffic flow around the school buildings. Carroll Community Schools will work with local engineers, the City of Carroll and other appropriate partners to develop traffic patterns that account for student drop-off and pick-up, buses, staff, visitors and general community traffic. The goal is to establish clear and efficient traffic flow patterns that coordinate with existing city streets and surrounding infrastructure. Student safety is our #1 concern.

❓FAQ: What is the plan for the Adams Elementary Building?

✅Answer: There haven’t been any next steps decided with the Adams Elementary building as of right now. As part of the bond proposal, Carroll Community School District plans to retire the Adams Elementary building and transition students to other district facilities. Retiring the aging building would allow the district to focus resources on providing students with modern, safe, and effective learning environments while addressing the district’s long-term facility needs.

✅Answer: To accomplish the goal of increasing educational opportunities for students and retiring Adams Elementary, here are the projects that will be happening at Carroll High School:

🔸Improve parking and traffic flow to better serve more students and staff safely.

Expand educational opportunities by:
🔸Addition of 7th & 8th grade classroom wing.

🔸Addition of career and technical classroom space for the trades.

🔸Renovate art classrooms.

🔸Renovate current science classrooms and increase hands-on learning science lab space.

🔸Addition of physical education spaces/gymnasium

🔸Expand the commons area.
