🎒 Kindergarten Ride-Along & Meet the Teacher! 🚌

Is your child starting Kindergarten at PRCES for the 2026-2027 school year? PRCSD invites you and your rising kindergartener to a special Ride-Along event!

🗓 When: Wednesday, July 29th

🏫 What: Ride a real school bus together straight to PRCES for Meet the Teacher.

🚌 The Ride Home: Arrange your own ride back, or request a bus drop-off right at your home.

📚 PRCES Families — A Few Helpful Reminders!

We want to make sure we are able to serve our families as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please review these helpful tips as you complete registration and payments:

✅ Paying Library Fees or Other School-Related Fees?
Please make sure you select the correct fund when submitting payments.

For example:
📖 Library fees should be paid by selecting the Elementary Library option and using the “Pay Here” link provided. When payments are made through other options, they may be applied to the incorrect fund, which can delay processing.

Selecting the correct fund helps ensure your payment is applied accurately and promptly.

📌 Did you not receive a registration code?
This typically means one of the following items needs attention:
• Your student has an outstanding fee, fine, or missing item
• We are missing required documents (such as immunization records or other required information)
• We may need to update your address or contact information

🎉 Happy Summer! Remember that Report Card from MAY? 🎉

We know, we know... school has been out for weeks, the report card is probably buried under a pile of sunscreen and pool towels, and you've successfully blocked out all thoughts of backpacks. But it’s time to go on a scavenger hunt! 🔍

Go find that final report card from May and look closely at the top left corner. Printed right there is your student’s unique ActiveCode for the 2026-2027 school year. Treat this code like gold, folks. File it, photograph it, guard it with your life—just don't lose it!

🛑 The "Hold Up" List (Registration Holds)
If your report card from May didn't have a code on it, you might be on the school's "VIP" list for outstanding items. Your code is being withheld until these are cleared up:

💉 Immunizations: Incoming new students or those with outstanding record needs for this will need to provide that MS Form 121.

📄 Paperwork: Out-of-district release forms or affidavits.

💰 Fines: Cafeteria balances, Chromebook fees, or that library book that's currently living under your kid's bed.

Get those settled with the front office, and your code will be released! 🔓

💻 How to Register (Without Losing Your Mind)
Please register as soon as possible so we can plan for next year! Here is your quick playbook:

⚠️ STEP AWAY FROM THE "CREATE ACCOUNT" BUTTON. If you forgot your login, just call us. Do not create a new account, or our tech system will cry.

Click the icon with the student and the plus sign (+) in the upper left corner.

Click "Have a code to enter? Click here."

Fill out the info until you see the "Congratulations" screen with the confetti. If there’s no virtual confetti, you aren't done yet! 🎉

🗓️ On-Site Registration (For the DIY-Challenged)
Prefer to do things in person? We got you.

When: Monday, July 20th | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Who needs to come? ONLY families who need a computer, moved and have new proofs of residency, need to drop off vaccine records, or are hunting down a missing code. If you did it online, stay home and enjoy your summer!

⚠️ A Friendly Warning About Lost Codes...
If you dug through the house and realized that May report card is gone forever, we will absolutely help you... BUT you will have to bring us two proofs of residency before we can hand over a new code. Save yourself the paperwork headache, go find that report card, and let's get registered! ☀️🌊

✨ Investing in professional learning means investing in our students!

This amazing team from Pearl River Central Elementary recently attended the National Literacy Institute’s Science of Reading training in person while our building principal attended virtually. Through this valuable professional learning experience, they gained research-based knowledge and instructional strategies that will strengthen literacy instruction across our school as they come back prepared to train the campus on all things science of reading.

Now, they return ready to share their learning with our faculty and staff, creating a ripple effect that will positively impact classrooms and student achievement throughout PRCES.

We are proud of their dedication to continuous growth and their commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to become a confident, successful reader.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily

⚠️ Donation Deadline: Anything left behind will be donated on Friday, June 26th, so don't wait!
