The Dragonflies dove into a new experience with our friends at Rincon Swim School.
Learning to swim is about more than learning strokes. It is about becoming comfortable in a new environment, listening to trusted adults, understanding personal boundaries, and developing independence step by step.
In a coastal community like Carpinteria, water is a part of everyday life. Building confidence and respect around the water helps keep children safe while opening the door to a lifetime of joyful experiences—from beach days and pool parties to exploring the ocean with family and friends.
At CCP, children grow when they feel supported, encouraged, and safe to take on challenges. These relationships help children build the skills they need to navigate new experiences with curiosity and courage.
As they prepare for kindergarten, the Dragonflies are practicing how to advocate for themselves, follow routines, try new things, and trust their own abilities.
A big thank you to Andrea and Rincon Swim School for helping our Dragonflies make waves! 🌊
