Liberty families, tomorrow is one of those mornings where we get to say…

⏰ DON’T SET THAT ALARM QUITE SO EARLY! 😂🙌

📅 Wednesday, September 2nd = LATE START DAY!

Here’s your Bestie cheat sheet so nobody is sitting in the parking lot at 7:45 wondering where everybody is. 😂

⭐ Pre-K: No attendance — enjoy your morning, little Stars!
⭐ K–5th: YES, you have school!
🚌 Bus Riders: Your bus will arrive approximately 2 HOURS LATER than your normal pickup time.
🚗 Parent Drop-Off: Mrs. Watson will make her grand entrance outside at 9:45 AM instead of 7:45 AM! ⭐️

And while we have everyone here… can we have a tiny Bestie Parking Lot Chat? 👀😂

Our Liberty traffic adventures officially made the C’ville Community page because of cars cutting through the BUS LANES. 😬

Besties… we do NOT need to be internet famous for this. 😂

But seriously — our Stars’ safety comes first. ALWAYS. ❤️⭐️

🚌 Please keep the bus lanes clear so our buses can safely unload students.

🍎 Please continue to respect the Teacher Parking Lot. Our teachers need to be able to park and get inside to welcome those Stars!

🚗 We have 3 visitor parking spots directly in front of the main entrance for families who need to stop at the school.

Those few extra minutes are worth it if it means every student, teacher, bus driver and family gets into Liberty safely. ❤️

So tomorrow morning: sleep in a little, grab the bigger coffee ☕️, remember 9:45 AM, and please resist the urge to create your own VIP traffic lane. 😂🚫

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing Star parents who have already snagged a spot as a Classroom Party Volunteer to help with a game or craft! 🎨🎃🎉

And can we get a round of applause for everyone who has stuck with ONE party per child for now?! 👏👏👏

We know. We KNOW. The temptation to click “SIGN ME UP” again is real. 😂 But we’re spreading the party love around so every Star parent has a chance to make those fun classroom memories with their kiddo. ❤️💙⭐

If your Star’s teacher still has Classroom Party Volunteer openings, we’ll open those spots back up and families can grab additional parties! 🎉🙌

Think of this as our official “Everybody Gets a Turn Before We Go Back for Seconds” policy. 😂❤️

We’re just trying to lead with kindness, share the opportunities, and make sure every Liberty parent who wants a chance to party with their Star gets one. ⭐

We’ve got a BIG morning of sign-ups coming your way, so set those alarms! ⏰👀

🎈 CLASS PARTY SIGN-UPS — LIVE AT 10:00 AM CST! 🎈

We want as many parents as possible to have the opportunity to make memories with their Stars this year! ❤️💙

✨ We’re asking families to share the love and sign up for ONE party per parent, per child for the school year during this first round.

If we still have openings after everyone has had a chance to sign up, don’t worry — we’ll send another Bestie Alert 📣 and open those remaining spots for additional sign-ups!

📸🌟 PICTURE DAY HELPERS — LIVE AT 10:15 AM CST! 🌟📸

Picture Day is Thursday, September 3rd, and we only need a VERY small crew for this one — just 3 parent helpers per session!

Our Picture Day Besties will help make sure our Liberty Stars are looking their absolute BEST before they say CHEESE! 😁📸✨ Hair behaving? ✔️ Shirt straight? ✔️ Big Liberty Star smile? ✔️

If you sign up to help with Picture Day, you must be Raptor approved by Tuesday, September 1st. If approval isn’t completed by then, we’ll unfortunately need to ask another Bestie to step in so our volunteer spots are covered.

Raptor approval is a quick process, and once you’re approved, you’ll be ready to help throughout the school year! 🙌

Our very first PTO Meeting of the 2026–2027 school year is officially in the books, and before we say anything else…

To every Liberty parent, teacher and staff member who gave up part of their Wednesday night to sit with us, listen, share ideas, ask questions, laugh with us and hear about everything we’re hoping to bring to Liberty this year — we are incredibly grateful for you. ❤️

PTO isn't just four people sitting at a table planning events.

PTO is ALL of us.

It's parents showing up.
It's teachers sharing what our Stars need.
It's volunteers giving their time.
It's families supporting fundraisers.
It's our community saying, “Our kids are worth showing up for.” ⭐️

At one point we weren't sure if Portillo’s was hosting a Liberty fundraiser or if Liberty Elementary had simply taken ownership of the building for three hours. 😂

🌭 Hot dogs were hot-dogging.
🍟 Fries were flying.
🥤 Shakes were shaking.
🚗 And that drive-thru line just kept GROWING.

Somewhere, we just know…

CADILLAC JERRY WAS PROUD. 😎🚘🌭⭐️

But behind all the jokes, we want you to know how much that support truly means.

Every time you attend a PTO meeting…
Every time you volunteer…
Every time you share one of our posts…
Every time you participate in a fundraiser…
Every time you grab dinner because a portion is coming back to Liberty…

YOU are helping us do more for our kids and teachers. ❤️

Those dollars turn into events.
They turn into classroom support.
They turn into special experiences.
They turn into memories our Stars will carry long after they leave Liberty.
