Last week, our Wildcats met BOTH of our Wildly Important Goals! 🐾🎉

📚 95% attendance! On Friday, only 3 Wildcats were absent! That is HUGE! Every day at school gives our students another opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their academic goals.

💪 Zero discipline referrals all week! Our Wildcats showed what it means to lead with positive choices, respect, and responsibility.

And, of course, there had to be a celebration! 🎉 Our Assistant Principal, Mr. Goetz, challenged our students to choose a special accessory for him to wear ALL DAY! 😂

Each week our Wildcats meet their Wildly Important Goals, they get to choose another accessory for Mr. Goetz. So far, they are having WAY too much fun with this! 🧚‍♂️✨

Help your Wildcat turn Mr. Goetz into the fairy of their dreams by encouraging positive choices and making sure they are at school on time, every day! 🧚‍♂️🐾

🚀 We’re kicking off the year by building leaders!

Our Beginning-of-the-Year Booster Stations give students explicit practice with the routines and procedures that help our school run successfully. We’re learning to be proactive, make positive choices, and live out our PALS expectations: Respect Property, All Others, Learning, and Self everywhere we go.

We don’t just tell students what it means to be a leader. We teach it, practice it, and celebrate it! 💙💛

Day 1 at Perry is in the books! 🐾💙

So proud of our Perry team for bringing the energy, joy, and excellence from the very first bell. There were a few first-day hiccups, of course, but our Wildcats showed up, worked together, and kept on rolling! 🎉

What a day for our 5th graders as they prepare to take the next step into 6th grade! Whether they were with us for a few years or their entire elementary journey, this group has truly left their mark on Perry Elementary School.

This class helped set the tone for future Wildcats through their leadership, growth, and the memories they created along the way. We know they will continue to do amazing things and make a difference wherever they go!

We wish each and every one of you nothing but success as you begin this next chapter. We can’t wait to celebrate your final day of 5th grade tomorrow!

Have an amazing summer and always remember… once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! 🐾💙

Our 1st graders turned Perry into a Habitat Zoo today! 🦁🐢🦒

Students did an amazing job sculpting their animals out of clay and learning all about their habitats. They also practiced their writing skills by researching and sharing facts about their animals with fellow Wildcats and families!

So much creativity, learning, and excitement all in one place! 💙

What a special day for our kindergarteners! 🎓💙

Today they celebrated their Kindergarten Graduation with a mini concert full of smiles, songs, and memories that will last a lifetime! We are so proud of all they have accomplished this year and cannot wait to watch them continue to grow.

The future is bright for the Class of 2038! ✨

Our 4th graders brought history to life at yesterday’s Wax Museum! 🌟 Students transformed into famous Illinois inventors and shared incredible facts about inventions, where they originated, and how they were created. The creativity, confidence, and knowledge on display were amazing!

It’s always exciting to see bright minds learning, growing, and shining in the moment! 💡✨

A huge thank you to Mrs. Worden and Mr. Zabran for creating such an engaging and memorable experience for our students! 👏
