🇺🇸 Patriot Day at Perry 🇺🇸

Today, our Perry Wildcats came together to recognize Patriot Day and remember the events of September 11, 2001. During our schoolwide Morning Meeting, we shared a special moment of silence and reflected on the courage, service, and kindness shown by so many.

Our students also put those ideas into action! ❤️🤍💙 Our 4th and 5th grade student leaders shared letters they wrote thanking our local firefighters and police officers, which were later delivered to both departments. Our 1st grade Wildcats demonstrated service in their own way by helping clean up our school playground.

Today was a wonderful reminder that even on a day connected to great sadness, we can choose to honor it through kindness, service, and taking care of one another.

We are proud of the way our Wildcats came together today. 🇺🇸🐾💙

🌟 Perry Leaders in Action! 🌟

We are so proud of our 2nd and 3rd grade Wildcats who were recognized by their teachers for showing leadership and being proactive throughout August and September! 💙🐾

These students have done an amazing job making responsible choices, taking initiative, and setting a positive example for others. Keep leading the Perry way, Wildcats! 👏

Next week, we’ll be celebrating our Kindergarten and 1st grade leaders! 🌟

💙🐾 Buddy Classrooms at Perry! 🐾💙

Today was our first Buddy Classroom experience of the year! As part of our MTSS Leadership work at Perry, our older students are paired with younger students to connect, learn, and grow together throughout the school year.

This month was all about getting to know our buddies and building relationships! As the year continues, our Buddy Classrooms will work together on activities designed to help ALL Perry students develop their own leadership skills and recognize the ways they can make a positive impact on our school community.

We can’t wait to see these relationships and young leaders continue to grow throughout the year!

💙 Every student can be a leader at Perry! 🐾

So proud of our Perry team! 💙

Tonight, Perry Elementary was recognized by the D300 Board of Education as a Model PLC at Work school! This recognition reflects the incredible work our staff does every day to collaborate, use data, learn together, and stay focused on what matters most: student learning and growth.

Proud to do this work alongside this amazing team. Perry Pride! 💙📚

Last week, our Wildcats met BOTH of our Wildly Important Goals! 🐾🎉

📚 95% attendance! On Friday, only 3 Wildcats were absent! That is HUGE! Every day at school gives our students another opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their academic goals.

💪 Zero discipline referrals all week! Our Wildcats showed what it means to lead with positive choices, respect, and responsibility.

And, of course, there had to be a celebration! 🎉 Our Assistant Principal, Mr. Goetz, challenged our students to choose a special accessory for him to wear ALL DAY! 😂

Each week our Wildcats meet their Wildly Important Goals, they get to choose another accessory for Mr. Goetz. So far, they are having WAY too much fun with this! 🧚‍♂️✨

Help your Wildcat turn Mr. Goetz into the fairy of their dreams by encouraging positive choices and making sure they are at school on time, every day! 🧚‍♂️🐾

Keep on rolling, Wildcats! We’ve got goals to meet! 💙💚
