DuPage County Farm Bureau Core belief, to promote agriculture and the important role it has in our community and everyday life.

The DuPage County Farm Bureau was formed in 1913 to serve and represent area farmers. Today, it continues to be the leading "Voice of Agriculture" along with the Illinois Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation. We now have over 16,000 member-families in the DuPage County area. Some Farm Bureau services are directly related to farmers and farm owners who have vested interest in the agr

icultural industry. Other services are directed toward improving the quality of life for both farmer and urban Members. We provide numerous programs, products, and benefits for all Members. AITC is back in the classroom! Last week, the 4th graders at Madison Elementary welcomed their hens back to school and enjoyed a chicken lesson with Kenna. Students were challenged to create a new egg carton using recycled materials. We think they did an egg-mazing job! 🐔🥚

🚨TAKE ACTION: Protect American Beef Production 🚨

Illinois Farm Bureau and Illinois Beef Association are asking you to urge Congress and the White House to protect American beef production.

An additional 660 million pounds of foreign beef is set to enter the U.S. over just 90 days at prices 25% below market value, undercutting producers.

Now is not the time. Farmers need long-term market stability, allowing producers to rebuild the U.S. cattle herd, increase American beef production and ensure consumers have access to a safe, abundant and affordable food supply.

Last week, our staff, volunteers, and local legislators had the unique opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour with the O'Hare International Airport Agriculture Specialists! We learned about the Ag Specialists' jobs, why certain foods and products are not allowed to cross the border, watched a K9 demonstration with Rocky the Beagle, and saw a sampling of contraband. It was a very eye-opening experience!
