🚨 CARO HAS A FARGO ALL-AMERICAN! 🚨

History has been made! We are incredibly proud to announce that Caro’s own Ashton Prahin has officially earned All-American status at the Fargo National Championships—the absolute pinnacle of high school wrestling! 🇺🇸🤼‍♂️

Competing in a massive, ultra-tough 128-man bracket in the 16U 190-lb Greco-Roman division, Ashton battled his way to an 8th-place finish in the nation, wrapping up an incredible tournament with a hard-fought 6-3 record.

To secure his spot on the podium, Ashton put on a masterclass, knocking off a returning Fargo Freestyle All-American in a clutch performance to cement his name among the best in the country.

Fargo is where the absolute best of the best meet, and Ashton proved beyond a doubt that he belongs on that stage. The hours of sweat, discipline, and grit have paid off.

🐅CARO WRESTLING CAMP RECAP 🤼‍♂️

What an absolute premier weekend for Caro Wrestling! Friday and Saturday, we had the privilege of hosting the SportsLife Wrestling Camp, and it was nothing short of phenomenal.

It was a true homecoming as Wynn Michalak returned to his roots to give back to the community that raised him. For our youth to learn from a Caro legend—a 2x MHSAA State Champion, 3x NCAA D1 All-American, and National Finalist at Central Michigan University—is an opportunity that doesn't come around often.

Wynn brought world-class technique to the mat, but more importantly, he and University of Michigan's 2x D1 All-American Taye Ghadiali shared powerful testimonials, using their platforms to spread the word of Jesus Christ and mentor the next generation.

We are incredibly thankful for these two phenomenal leaders dedicating their time, wisdom, and passion to helping our youth grow both as athletes and as individuals. The energy in the room was unmatched!
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and left it all on the mat. We already can’t wait to have you guys back next year! 🙌

🚨 CARO WRESTLING NATION

Huge shoutout to our own Ashton Prahin for an incredible run at the Fargo 16U Freestyle Nationals!
Wrestling in a massive 128-man bracket at 190 lbs, Ash went 3-2 to finish in the Round of 16—officially cementing his place among the Top 16 kids in the entire country! 🌎🔥

Friday: Started off red-hot, going a perfect 2-0.

Saturday: Went 1-2 against absolute elite
competition, which included avenging a past loss from the 16U National Duals by knocking off a top-ranked Illinois wrestler, before ultimately falling to the tournament's #1 overall seed.

The grit, heart, and ex*****on Ash showed on the national stage was incredible. We are so proud of you, Ash! Way to compete and put Caro on the map!

The work isn't done yet: Ash gets right back on the mat this Tuesday to test his skills in the Greco-Roman tournament. Let's keep the momentum rolling!

Huge shoutout to Caro sophomore Ashton Prahin! 🐅

Ashton recently traveled out to Utah to represent Team Michigan at the 16U National Duals, competing against the absolute best wrestlers in the country.
He put on an incredible performance, going 4-4 in Greco-Roman and 5-3 in Freestyle!

Along the way, Ashton picked up a massive signature win over a Missouri State Finalist / NHSCA National Finalist, helping propel Team Michigan to a huge dual victory over Missouri.

As a team, Michigan battled to a 9th-place finish in the nation for Greco and 13th in the country for Freestyle.

We are incredibly proud of you, Ashton! Keep raising the bar and paving the way for Caro Wrestling. Next up: Individual Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota next month! 🌾🔥

🚨 REGIONALS RECAP & CONGRATULATIONS! 🚨
We want to give a massive shoutout to Caro wrestling freshman Ashton Prahin and his brother Ben Prahin! 🤼‍♂️🔥

This past weekend, the Prahin brothers traveled down to Louisville, Kentucky to battle it out at the Central Regionals—one of the premier tournaments in the country and a direct qualifier for Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota. Both guys competed in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles against top-tier talent.

🏆 The Results:
• Ashton Prahin: Took 3rd Place in Greco 🥉 and put together a dominant 3-2 run in Freestyle, falling just short of the podium! This 3rd place finish qualified Ashton for nationals in Fargo North Dakota!

• Ben Prahin: Battled hard all weekend, laying it all out on the mat in both styles against the region's best.

An incredible weekend of wrestling from both of these guys. We are so proud of your hard work, grit, and dedication. Way to represent our community on a massive stage!
