The Portals Project brought students, educators, and technology together through scanning, digital modeling, Autodesk workflows, and immersive visualization experiences.
From concept to creation, students explored how the built world can be captured, designed, and reimagined through innovation and collaboration.
This is more than technology in the classroom — it’s future-ready learning in action.

It’s getting competitive…
Mark and Paul are officially neck and neck for Employee of the Month, and honestly, it’s anyone’s game at this point — and neither is backing down.
At this rate, we might need a tie-breaker… or just give them both the title and call it a day.
Stay tuned — this race is far from over.

Back in Volterra for our annual digital preservation workshop—and it feels just as inspiring as ever. There’s something special about gathering in a place so rich with history while working to protect the future of our digital world.
Each year, this workshop reminds us how important it is to not only preserve data, but to preserve stories, knowledge, and connections for generations to come. Grateful to collaborate with such passionate minds, share ideas, and continue learning in a setting that perfectly bridges the past and the future.

We were proud to speak at the University of Pittsburgh on the growing importance of digital preservation, alongside Justin Gunther, Director of Fallingwater, and our own leadership— Touf Hassoun, President & CEO, and Mark Dietrick, Director of Services.
As the built environment faces increasing pressure—from climate change and natural disasters to aging infrastructure—the need for digital preservation has never been more urgent. It’s not just about creating a record; it’s about building a resilient foundation for the future.
Through high-fidelity reality capture, BIM, and digital twin technologies, we’re helping create precise, data-rich representations of iconic places like Fallingwater—ensuring they can be studied, protected, and experienced by future generations in ways never before possible.
Grateful to be part of this important conversation and to collaborate with leaders pushing the boundaries of how we protect and preserve our shared history through innovation.

From ancient stone to digital twin, our time in Volterra last week was nothing short of extraordinary. Case Technologies joined global collaborators to spotlight the power of reality capture, BIM, and immersive modeling in preserving cultural heritage.
This media showcase brought together technologists, historians, and storytellers—including Professor Wladek Fuchs, whose architectural expertise and long-standing engagement with Volterra have helped shape the academic foundation of the initiative, and Elena Sorge, whose archaeological leadership ensures the integrity and authenticity of every step. Together, they exemplify the fusion of cultural insight and technological innovation that defines the Volterra initiative.
Powered by Autodesk tools and supported by the Volterra-Detroit Foundation, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital preservation through global partnership, education, and innovation. It’s a testament to what’s possible when cultural heritage is protected not only by memory, but by technology and collective purpose.

Case Technologies is proud to partner with Autodesk and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to digitally preserve Frank Lloyd Wright’s legendary Fallingwater.
Through drone photogrammetry, laser scanning, and the power of Autodesk’s design/build software, we are capturing Fallingwater from every angle--- inside and out. In collaboration with the Conservancy, we are building a precise digital model that honors their stewardship and ensures this architectural icon can be explored, studied, and celebrated for generations to come.
