Thank you to everyone that donated blood this past fall. We participated in a giving back program with OBI called The Greater Good. Because of our great turnout, the OBI donated $420 to a non-profit of our choice. We chose the Carnegie Chamber of Commerce to help with the expenses of their Christmas toy giveaway. Last semester we participated in The Greater Good program. Due to the number of units of blood collected, we were able to donate a check to a local non-profit organization. This semester we are hoping to have more donors. The recipient of The Greater Good program next week will be our local food pantry!
Please consider giving blood, even if you never have before. With every donation, you help up to 3 people! Contact any high school student council member to sign up. You can also sign up at www.obi.org

Awesome student section last night! Great win for the girls, tough loss for the boys. Both games were exciting and I'm sure there are several people (myself included) that doesn't have much of a voice today. Congrats to Madison Riddle for winning "student fan of the game". Thanks to the booster club for recognizing the students and the prize.

Members of the CHS Student Council are currently selling chances for a crocheted afghan. Chances are $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be during halftime of the boys homecoming game on Friday, December 17th. You do not have to be present to win but it's going to be a good night of basketball! 🙂

We had a great group help at the Carnegie United Methodist Food Pantry. The pantry has their largest amounts of food this time of year. These kids knocked it out in no time. They are hard workers and work great together.

🎵 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎵
A few members of CHS StuCo were at the school this Sunday afternoon creating some Christmas cheer. Yes, we know it's the beginning of November but we only have 5 weeks of school before Christmas break!!!! 🎄 😲
