Thank you, Yo Yo Ma, this is what I’m talking about. And I might add that your cello music creates vibrations at the frequencies of our voices, and quite often at the frequencies of our mother’s voices, which are the first closest sounds we hear. Comforting, and connected energy.

Call for artists! Are you or someone you know looking for an opportunity to play music for a good cause in a very stress-free and fun atmosphere? We're looking for an acoustic musician for Carnation's 2nd Annual Arbor Day on April 27. This is a family-friendly, folksy, festive afternoon in celebration of all things trees! Playing in the ever-popular Carnation is a feather in the cap of any blooming performer.
Details: the stage is on ground-level in an open-air shelter at Tolt McDonald Park. About 250 people will wander through between 10 am and 2 pm as they mingle, participate at booths, stop to listen, and move on. Playing time will be set in advance for 10-40 minutes, depending on the musician.
