Peep the little friend on the Sunflower 🐞

We had so many amazing buds from Harvold Berry Farm in the classroom today from parents who visited over the weekend. If you haven’t already check them out and follow the map of Snoqualmie Valley Sunflower Festival 🌻 we will see you this Saturday at Tolt Commons to celebrate!

We have our new students starting this week!
So, what will they do?

They’ll learn where their cubby is.
Figure out where their boots belong.
Meet their teachers and new friends.
Explore the classroom at their own pace.
Spend plenty of time outside.
Learn the rhythm of our days.
Eat snacks together.
Get dirty. Probably very dirty.
Discover favorite places around campus.
Watch the older and returning students and start figuring out, “Ohhh, this is how we do things here.”

They’ll work when they’re ready, observe when they need to, ask lots of questions, and have plenty of space to simply settle in.

There might be big excitement at drop-off. There might be some nervous feelings. There might even be a few tears, from kids or parents. All of it is welcome here. The first week isn’t about knowing exactly what to do. It’s about beginning to feel like this is my school, these are my people, and I belong here.

We’re so excited to welcome our newest little Mosaic crew this week.
