Transitional Kindergarten (TK) openings are still available and more 4-year-olds are eligible for the upcoming school year than ever before! 📢

Students who will be 5 years old between Sept. 2, 2023, and April 2, 2024 are eligible to enroll. Transitional Kindergarten gives students two years to develop the essential skills to excel academically and socially in elementary school. 📚

Registration is open for virtual and in-person sessions of the 2023 “Families Matter” conference, hosted by San Juan Unified’s Family and Community Engagement department.

The first session will take place over Zoom on Friday, April 14 from 9-11:30 a.m. An in-person event will also be held on Saturday, April 15 at Del Campo High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is free, and the event is open to all families, educators and community members. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a wide variety of workshops, and will receive a gift bundle as well as be entered into multiple raffles just for attending. 🎁

There will be no school from Monday, April 3 to Friday, April 7 for spring break.

Bridges will also be closed from Monday, April 3 to Friday, April 7. Discovery Club and District offices will be closed on Friday, April 7.

Just a quick reminder that Thursdays are early out days. Students in 1st-3rd are dismissed at 1:15 and students in 4th-8th are dismissed at 1:20.

Starting on Thursday, August 25 we will be issuing tardy slips to students who arrive to school past 8:00 am. I know the drop off can be very busy, but remember that students can arrive as early as 7:15 am. Arriving early limits the traffic that you encounter.
