Jesuit High School Sacramento was honored to host a Vigil Prayer Service in anticipation of the ordination of six Jesuits West priests. On Friday, the ordinands gathered in the vestibule of the Phelan Chapel of the North American Martyrs on our campus for their portrait, followed by the Vigil Prayer Service.
On Saturday, the ordination liturgy was celebrated at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish in Sacramento.
We invite our community to join us in praying for Edward H. Chow, SJ, Shane Liesegang, SJ, Daniel Mascarenhas, SJ, Chinh (Chris) Nguyen, SJ, and Victor Pro Yanez, SJ, as these newly ordained priests begin this next chapter of ministry in service to the Church.
