🌸✨ Today we are throwing it back to celebrate Flower Vespers 2026. Once again this was a beautiful reminder that the end of the school year is about more than finals and goodbyes – it’s about gratitude, grace, and friendships. Hosted by our Student Association and Campus Ministries teams, this special evening offers students the chance to reflect on the year, apologize for the missteps, and thank their classmates, teachers, and friends who made an impact along the way. 💐🤍
From notes to heartfelt conversations, the atmosphere was marked by kindness, laughter, tears, and meaningful connections. These are the moments that make a school a family. 🌷🙏
Thank you to SA and Campus Ministries for creating such a meaningful and memorable vespers to close out the year! 🌅✨

SAA’s annual outdoor spring concerts are a beautiful way to celebrate a year of music! These concerts are casual and joyful events. Families and friends gathered around the Gazebo in lawn chairs with cold drinks and soft serve ice cream 🍦in hand, while the gentle evening breeze carried notes and lyrics beneath the overhanging trees. 🌳🎶
As we close the year, we give thanks for the many blessings we enjoy, one of which is our music department! In total, SAA boasts 12 music groups across middle school and high school. The depth of talent and dedication on display is always inspiring! 🙏🏼
Thank you to our music department, families, and students for an incredible year of music education, growth, creativity, and performance. 🎶🙌🏾

✂️📖🌍 Our 5th graders are embracing the joy of service in a hands-on way! For the past few months, students have carefully cut felts that depict Bible stories. All of the felts will be compiled into sets before eventually being sent to our sister communities in Zambia and Paraguay. 🇵🇾 🇿🇲This is all part of SAA’s ongoing partnership with Maranatha Volunteers International.
There’s something special about watching students realize that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact across the world. From selling lunches 🍕, bringing in donations 💰, and playing disc golf for a cause 🥏, to now preparing Bible story felts for Sabbath School classes, our K-5 students have spent this year learning what it means to serve others with joyful hearts.
We are so proud of students and teachers for modeling our mission and SLOs through service, attitude, and generosity! 🫱🏼🫲🏽🌎✨

We had a blast at today’s K-8 Color Run! 💙💚💛❤️
Students took off across our middle school cross country course in bright white t-shirts, only to cross the finish line covered head-to-toe in clouds, splashes, and explosions of color! 🌈🏃♂️From flying color bombs to cheering crowds along the trail, today was filled with nonstop laughter, energy, and school spirit.
The smiles of the students said it all as they sprinted through bursts of color with teachers and classmates. Events like today remind us that living “healthy and balanced lives” – one of our Schoolwide Learner Outcomes – goes beyond exercise alone. It’s about building community, creating memories, encouraging one another, and celebrating movement together. 💪🏃🏻♀️
A HUGE shoutout to two amazing people – our K-12 PE teacher, Mrs. Turk, and our K-5 Vice Principal, Mrs. Schroer – for organizing such an unforgettable experience for our students and families!

Today we are throwing it back to celebrate the return of the Healing Hands Free Health Clinic! 🙌🏽🩺This annual service event returned to our campus on May 2–3, providing free dental, vision, and medical care to hundreds of Carmichael-area residents.
In partnership with the Carmichael Seventh-day Adventist Church, local congregations, and Life and Health, hundreds of volunteers came together to serve our community with compassion and care. 🧑🏽⚕️💪At SAA, we believe that one of the best ways for us to honor God is through service to others.
Our students played an important role throughout the clinic. They welcomed guests, assisted with registration, supported childcare, helped with dental setup, and most importantly, built meaningful connections with our neighbors. The smiles, gratitude, and stories remind us that even small acts of kindness will make a lasting impact. 😊❤️
Special thanks to clinic director Jenny Jin for coordinating it all! We are grateful to everyone who helped make Healing Hands possible and proud to be part of a school community that teaches students the importance of serving others every day. 🙏🏼❤️
