Legends return.
It was a great way to start the day at the annual Jesuit Cross Country Alumni Fun Run, as Jesuit XC & Distance Track from across the decades returned to campus to reconnect, share stories, and hit the course once again.

Thank you to the alumni and coaches who joined us. Whether it is 1 or 100 🏃‍♂️‍➡️, coming back together is a tradition that reminds us that once a Marauder, always a Marauder.

🏴‍☠️The Marauder network is strong. The Marauder legacy is even stronger.

At our Freshman Parent Welcome Coffee, three Class of 2000 Marauders reunited and all are back on campus! Joey Elftmann ’00, Boys Division Dean of Students (left), reunited John Riehl ’00, freshman parent, and Josh Rojas ’00, Jesuit’s Director of Alumni Relations (right).

The occasion? Welcoming John’s son, JT Riehl ’30, to Jesuit!

Even more special, JT is a third-generation Marauder, continuing a family tradition that spans decades.

We love moments like these that remind us the Jesuit experience doesn’t end at graduation. It grows through friendships, families, and generations of Marauders who continue to call Jesuit home.

Welcome to the family, JT, and welcome to the Class of 2030! ❤️💛

🎬🏆 Alumni News: Congratulations to James Craft '92!

Jesuit High School alumnus James Craft '92 has earned a 2026 Heartland Emmy® Award for Musical Composition/Arrangement for his work on the Wyoming PBS documentary Mountain Roots: The Adventure Home.

The film follows a young climber's journey from Wyoming to the Italian Alps as she explores her family heritage and discovers the meaning of home. As composer and musical director for the project, James collaborated with an international team of musicians to create a score that beautifully supports the story's themes of courage, identity, and belonging.

Since graduating from Jesuit in 1992, James has built an impressive career in music and storytelling. He studied at the University of Notre Dame, earned a Master of Music in Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and completed USC Thornton's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program. Today, he works as a film composer and serves as founder and creative director of Craft Music.

Please join us in congratulating James on this prestigious achievement and thanking him for continuing to inspire others through creativity, excellence, and the power of storytelling.

Once a Marauder, always a Marauder.

The Jesuit Cross Country Team invites all alumni to the annual fun run being held on August 15 before their Meet the Marauders morning. Join Coach Lange, Coach Witzgall ‘98, Coach Sarah Kelso, and the entire crew for a fun and casual run.
