Carmel High School Choirs

It’s been an amazing week with these hard working campers and counselors enjoying our 10th Annual Summer Spectacular Show Choir Camp! We could not be prouder of these talented kids and we can’t wait till they all get to be Carmel HS Choir students! Our “end of camp” performance will be tonight at 7pm at Carmel Middle School (due to construction in the CHS Auditorium). All are welcome to attend. Thank you to everyone who has made this an incredible week making music and memories!

The Carmel Accents are celebrating their 50th Season in the upcoming 26-27 school year. We are so excited to be planning an anniversary show and reunion which will be held at the Palladium on April 18, 2027. We invite all former Accents from the past five decades to attend, perform, and be a part of this wonderful event. If you can’t be there in person, we still welcome you to contribute your favorite memories and keep us all up-to-date on where you are now. If you or anyone you know is a former Accent, please encourage them to complete this form linked below and in the QR code on the photo by August 31, 2026 so that they can be included on all communication about the event. Tickets will go on sale on September 1 at the Center for the Performing Arts.

As we wind down the last few weeks of the school year, we are still busy with lots of activities in the choir department. Please take a few moments to read through this week's newsletter.

Here are a few highlights to note:

1. The Ambassadors perform in the ISSMA State Concert Choir Finals tonight at 7pm at Pike High School. Come on out and support them. $5 admission

2. Don't miss the Spring Musical, "Anything Goes" this week.

3. All students and chaperones participating in the 2027 France/England Tour must register in the Music Travel Portal and pay the initial deposit by Monday, May 11

4. Parent Volunteers needed to help with check-in/registration for our summer show choir camp on June 1. Sign up link in the newsletter to help

5. Student Meetings this week during SSRT.
Wednesday, May 13 - Students attending Show Choir Camps of America this summer. Friday, May 15 - Students volunteering as counselors for the CHS Summer Show Choir Camp

6. Students who are enrolled for choir next year in 2026-2027, please complete the required forms for the start of the school year. Forms are linked in the newsletter.

7. All students who were awarded undergraduate scholarships for music enrichment must turn in the form to claim your money by May 15.

8. Graduates and students not returning to choir: we are collecting donation of gently used performance shoes if you no longer need them. Bring them to the choir office before the school year ends.

Come support the Carmel Ambassadors at the ISSMA State Concert Choir Finals this Saturday at Pike High School. They perform at 7:08pm. General Admission is just $5.
