⚾️ Chad Whitson, Bowling Green ‘01, made his MLB All-Star debut last night as second base umpire! Brother Whitson has over a decade of MLB umpiring experience and has ejected the likes of Yankees manager Aaron Boone and future Hall of Famers Miguel Cabrera and Justin Verlander. He also recently went viral on social media for his legendary “I’m not a magician!” hot mic moment during a Mets and Nationals game.

This year marks 250 years since America was born. Alpha Sigma Phi has carried her own torch for over 181 of them. Alpha Sig has shaped men who show up as fathers, coaches, neighbors, and friends long after they leave the chapter house.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom, bravery, and sacrifice. For 181 of those years, Alpha Sigma Phi has been proud to call this nation home, continuing to Better the Man on campuses across the United States. Happy Independence Day from Alpha Sigma Phi, our chapters, and our brothers!
