Summer Camp starts TOMORROW! โ˜€๏ธ

Our educators spent last week in preparation for camp, learning all about bugs and pollinators with Pat Stadille. One friendly swallowtail butterfly even hung out for a photo op with Molly! ๐Ÿฆ‹โœจ

Kari Bernardi of Super Natural Chef also stopped by to teach us some delicious new recipes for our young chefs to try. Thank you to Kari and Pat for a wonderful week of staff trainings!๐Ÿ’š

Happy World Environment Day! ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ’š
This yearโ€™s global theme, โ€œInspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future,โ€ reminds us that our everyday choices make an impact on the natural environment around us, and our future!

Today, and every day, we celebrate the power of environmental stewardship, community action, and hands-on learning to help create a greener, kinder, healthier planet for generations to come. Together, we grow change! ๐ŸŒฑ

Wildlife Wednesday! ๐Ÿฆƒ This curious female turkey made herself right at home, spending a few days exploring the Habitat and checking out all it has to offer. She even enjoyed a nice dust bath in the garden while she was here! We were delighted to host this feathered friend during her stay at MEarth. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Staff Highlight! ๐ŸŒฑ Meet Sophie, MEarth's Development Administrator!

Sophie is a Pacific Grove local who grew up exploring the outdoors, sparking a lifelong appreciation for nature and wildlife. She studied Sociology and Legal Studies at University of California, Santa Cruz, where she developed a passion for community building connecting people to the natural world. This photo is from our previous Sustainable Chef Dinner last Novemberโ€” one of the many fundraising events she helps bring to life, alongside supporting donor relations!

Outside of work, she enjoys art projects, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family. We're so grateful for Sophie! ๐Ÿ’š
