Staff Highlight! 🌱 Meet Sophie, MEarth's Development Administrator!

Sophie is a Pacific Grove local who grew up exploring the outdoors, sparking a lifelong appreciation for nature and wildlife. She studied Sociology and Legal Studies at University of California, Santa Cruz, where she developed a passion for community building connecting people to the natural world. This photo is from our previous Sustainable Chef Dinner last November— one of the many fundraising events she helps bring to life, alongside supporting donor relations!

Outside of work, she enjoys art projects, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family. We're so grateful for Sophie! 💚

Happy World Bee Day! 🐝🌼

Bees help pollinate nearly one-third of the food we eat! Healthy food systems depend on healthy pollinator populations. Let's join together in protecting bees by planting pollinator friendly gardens and supporting sustainable agriculture.

Today we’re celebrating the tiny workers that keep our gardens growing and our communities nourished.💛
