Two Cirque Du Soleil Acrobats Put It All Out There To Show That Trust Takes Time, But It’s Worth It As acrobats in Cirque du Soleil, Alya and Gael literally put their lives in someone else’s hands. That might be scary, but what they’re able to accomplish is amazing.

Reminded today that each day is a true blessing. Grateful.

The Sacrament of Letting Go...

Slowly
She celebrated the sacrament of
Letting Go…
First she surrendered her Green
Then the Orange, yellow, and Red…
Finally she let go of her Brown…
Shedding her last leaf
She stood empty and silent, stripped bare
Leaning against the sky she began her vigil of trust…
Shedding her last leaf
She watched its journey to the ground…
She stood in silence,
Wearing the color of emptiness
Her branches wondering:
How do you give shade, with so much gone?
And then, the sacrament of waiting began
The sunrise and sunset watched with
Tenderness, clothing her with silhouettes
They kept her hope alive.
They helped her understand that
her vulnerability
her dependence and need
her emptiness
her readiness to receive
were giving her a new kind of beauty.
Every morning and every evening she stood in silence and celebrated
the sacrament of waiting.

Contemplating returning to teaching....had this conversation many times over the last 2ish years. What was holding me back before now no longer matters.

With such Gratitude for her teachings and to be a part of such an incredible lineage.

Ultimately, my teacher. It’s her lineage from which I learned. I feel safe in saying every cue every alignment technique and likely every adjustment you’ve Ever received from me has stemmed from this legend. Truly. Loss with such incredible gratitude. How lucky I am to have benefited from her teachings and guidance.
