Theta Chi Fraternity

Theta Chi is proud to be a leader in the new 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗻 movement, which advocates that fraternities are a proven solution to the widespread loneliness, declining mental health, and lack of mentorship affecting young men today.

Theta Chi brothers and the 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗲𝗻 movement know that 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸! Members are 12% more likely to report positive mental health, nearly 30% more likely to have a male mentor, and are significantly more likely to have three or more close friends than non-affiliated students.

Today, we remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country, including 𝗦𝗴𝘁. 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿 (Beta Epsilon/Montana 1965), a Green Beret who gave the last full measure of devotion during the Vietnam War.

This Memorial Day, we share Brother Boyer's story from the Winter 2016 issue of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦. Take a moment today to reflect on those who gave their lives, like Sgt. Boyer, to protect what matters most.

🏁 Gentlemen, start your engines! In celebration of tomorrow’s 110th running of the Indianapolis 500, we raise a glass of cold milk in the memory of a true Theta Chi: 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 "𝗧𝗼𝗻𝘆" 𝗛𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗿.!

When 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗶/𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 experienced a terrible fire, and their chapter house burned down, they received a 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 from their neighbor who lived two doors down: Tony Hulman.

Hulman, a prominent businessman, was known throughout Indiana and beyond for putting Clabber Girl baking powder on the map, his generous philanthropic efforts, and for his 1945 purchase and subsequent revitalization of the immortal Indianapolis Speedway.

After learning of the fire, Hulman personally housed 35 Theta Chi brothers in his Terre Haute House hotel and later helped the chapter purchase its next home. In recognition of his Assisting Hand and friendship, Delta Pi initiated Tony Hulman as an alumnus member in 1970.
