Midwest Academy serves students in grades 3–12 with ADHD, learning differences, high-functioning autism, and processing challenges.

In a small, engaging setting, we deliver a progressive curriculum that nurtures academic growth & confidence. Most of our students are bright young people who have found it difficult to thrive in a traditional schooling environment. Looking for a fun and sensory-friendly summer activity for the family? ☀️

The Monon Center Waterpark in Carmel is hosting a Sensory-Friendly Swim Night, Tuesday June 2nd, from 7:30-9:30pm. This event is designed to reduce overstimulation for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families.

During the event:
• Music will be turned off
• Concessions will be closed for a calmer environment
• The activity pool, slides, and lazy river will remain open for family fun together

💧 Cost: $22 per family
💧 Preregistration is required
💧 One registration per family

This is not a school-sponsored event, we simply wanted to share a community opportunity that may be enjoyable for some of our MWA families this summer! 💙

Throwing it back to one of our favorite days of the school year — FIELD DAY!

Teacher Appreciation Week at MWA was one for the books 💙

Last week, we celebrated our incredible teachers and staff who pour so much love, patience, and dedication into our students every single day. A huge thank you to our wonderful families for the endless snacks, treats, donations, and kindness shown all week long!

We wrapped up the week by sending our teachers into summer break with personalized summer bags, beach towels, and goodies as a small thank you for everything they do all year long. ☀️🍉

As we head into our final week of school, we’re feeling extra thankful for the people who make MWA such a special place!

From dancing and laughter to unforgettable memories with friends, Prom 2026 was a night to remember. A special Midwest tradition continued, our seniors were knighted by Mr. Inman, officially becoming Knights of Midwest and stepping into a lasting community they will always be part of. 👑⚔️
