Really stoked having my buddy Jason come out & visit!

We were lucky enough to play three years of professional baseball together, and somewhere along the way he became one of my best friends—and even stood beside me as one of my groomsmen.

A tall lefty with good stuff on the mound, but what always stood out the most to me was how competitive he was. He brought that same competitive spirit to everything.

Thanks for always showing up, supporting me, and being there, means a lot. Monty loved being around you too!🐾 I hope someday Cooper and Wyatt can come out and we’ll have a Feel Good Home Run Derby!⚾️🤘🚀🚀🚀

I’ve been fortunate to work with Josh Girvan over the last 10 years, and one thing continues to stand out: he loves the game. He loves to hit. He loves to play defense. He loves to be aggressive on the bases. He loves pointing the work!
He just loves to compete!

Through proprioception, mirror work, tee work, metronome work, pitching machines with velo and movement… Josh continues to put in the work, building momentum and confidence every day. That’s what development looks like. ⚾️

Tough to explain how much I lappreciate this new footage from Jeff Passan Joey Votto, from Ted, Bobby, & all the fishing buddies that were at this great debate!

I love this rare footage and I can’t help but wonder what else is out there!!! After coaching 9 Summers in Cape Cod with the Orleans Firebirds, I interviewed with several MLB teams- including the Boston Red Sox Organization-

During the 2nd interview, I asked several of the employees in the front office, how much Ted Williams footage do you guys have- in the archives- in the basement of Fenway that I could tap into, that I could have access to-

with raised eyebrows they asked why I would ask for something like that, I raised my eyebrows back at them and asked why not???🤷🏻‍♂️⚾️🚀

Bobby Dalbec broke out in August 2021, earning American League Rookie of the Month honors after hitting .339 with 7 home runs and 21 RBI. He carried that momentum into the final stretch, providing Boston with much-needed power and clutch production as they fought through a tight playoff race. The Red Sox finished 92–70, reached the postseason, won the Wild Card Game, and advanced all the way to the ALCS. Bobby’s August and the momentum he created were an important part of that late-season push.

Long Ted Williams gift to the game & the Boston Red Sox, and long live all the ballplayers who draw water from his well!.

Just try to remember that you’re drinking from Rogers Hornsby‘s well too. While we bark & complain about guys not hitting .300, let’s remember to listen & homage to 2 of the goats who hit .400🤷🏻‍♂️
