Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing Robotics Mom and the mom’s out there. Our robotics moms will move mountains and have traveled miles and states for these kids! We can’t thank you enough!

Although our team did not get to interview with the judges at the Hudson Valley Regional Competition, our essay submission of all that The Bad News Gears have done for the past 5 years is what helped us win the Chairman's Award. Being a team for only 5 years, it is our Coaches and past team members (that still come back to mentor) and our present team of students, who eat, sleep and breath FIRST robotics, that make Team 5943 continue to engaging, impacting, and inspiring others to learn about FIRST, STEAM, and how a team is more than just robots but a family. Please enjoy our short video that would have been shown at the Regional when we won!

Our team, even in social distancing and distant learning, are still doing what they can to help the community, whether they are individually making face-shields, sewing face-masks, or working to help their neighbors/community - we will always honor the and will be Carmel Central Schools
