Check out what the Woodbrook Robotics teams are up to! STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

The Indiana Department of Education developed “Indiana’s Priorities for STEM Education” in 2014 and since then, STEM education has been a big push in the state. These disciplines will be more and more important for our children as technology in the workforce is ever-increasing. There are STEM jobs and career paths that did not exist even a few years ago! What happens at robotics practice?

Teams build each other up, heighten their engineering focus, and support and celebrate their fellow teams every time we get together. Problems, as they do, always occur and our teams rally around each other looking for ways they can help their team be successful. Some are building their robot, some are coding their controller, some are documenting in their engineering notebook, some are troubleshooting with Mr. Vahle, and some driving on the robotics field looking for ways to improve their skills. Robotics practices help to make our robots, our teammates, and our team stronger every time!
