“Beyond the Headlines”—Veteran Stories
Friday, June 26, 2-4, Carmel American Legion
Carmel's 4 veteran organizations will present an oral history event to celebrate America's birthday. Families are invited to learn about America's history through storytelling as presented by a panel of veterans. Hear stories with power-point presentations, along with stories of family members, going back to the Revolutionary War. Conversation, birthday cake, and displays.

Judging the 5th Congressional District student art contest. The 1st place work will be displayed with all other congressional districts’ art in Congress, and the artist gets a trip to DC. Announcement & reception Saturday.
