We look forward to welcoming Silver Creek secondary families on Wednesday September 2nd!
6th and 7th grade orientation 3:30-4:30
Open house 4:30-6:30
During these events, we will provide pertinent information to help families prepare for the start of the school year and give students an opportunity to meet staff and become familiar with the school.
Please note that we will not be sending information packets home. For the most up to date information, please visit the ISD 2918 website.

Sincere apologies to those families who did not receive the infinite campus message about school year 26-27 registration. We have 9-12th grade open registration today Wednesday, August 12th from 12:00-4:00 at our Silver Creek location at 207 Pioneer Drive Wrenshall. If you are unable to make today’s open registration please call 218-384-4274 to make an appointment with our counselor or principles.
Orientation for grades 6&7 will be held before our open house on September 2nd from 3:30-4:30 in the main gym.

July 1. It's Official.

Today marks an exciting new chapter as we officially become the Carlton-Wrenshall Public School District – ISD #2918.

As we begin this journey together, we're excited to introduce our official communication channels where you'll find district news, updates, announcements, events, and important information throughout the year.

As with any new beginning, we're still fine-tuning a few things behind the scenes. Thank you for your patience and grace as we continue building a communication experience that best serves our students, families, staff, and communities.

We are excited to share the 2026–2027 Carlton-Wrenshall Public School Calendar with our families and community!

✨Important Dates to Note:
📌 Open House: September 2, 2026
📌 First Day of School: September 8, 2026
📌 Winter Break: December 23 – January 3
📌 Spring Break: March 22–26, 2027
📌 Last Day of School: June 4, 2027

One of our favorite traditions is waving goodbye as the buses pull away on the last day of school. Thank you to our students, families, and staff for a wonderful year at South Terrace Elementary!

Have a great summer! Information about our transition to Otter Creek Elementary will be shared throughout the summer. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back this fall for an exciting new chapter. ☀️🚌

✨️Carlton-Wrenshall Childcare for the 2026-2027 school year✨️
We have lots of details to navigate through over the summer months. We will keep families as updated as possible as information becomes available.
Here is what we know right now:
🔸️Registration for the school year will begin by mid-July.
🔹️Childcare will be offered daily from 6am-6pm.
🔸️Preschool families: Wrap-around care is available. We are also available for care on your child's non-preschool days.
🔹️We look forward to caring for your children at Otter Creek Elementary!

Our secondary staff were pleasantly surprised with lunch and some goodies from our local businesses today for our final scheduled day at Carlton.

•The Green House for the beautiful hanging baskets
•Street Car for the gift cards for the restaurant
•Kyleah Schmidt for making it all happen

It’s been a pleasure working with everyone in the community, this has been a very hard week so it was refreshing to have some happiness for the end of the week!

Mrs. Nelson found an old overhead projector and ran with it. Her 4th & 5th graders had a “Back to the 90s” day complete with 90s themed coloring, guessing the 90s items, cat’s cradle, friendship bracelet & beaded keychain making, and 90s music bingo!
