Join us at the Pac Rim Library for a special early-morning shopping experience at the Book Fair! 📚✨ Bring your favorite kiddo, enjoy a treat together, and discover some new favorite books!

🍩 Donuts with Dad: Tuesday, October 13 | 7:30–8:10 AM
🧁 Muffins with Mom: Thursday, October 15 | 7:30–8:10 AM

☕️ Coffee will be served for adults!

❤️ Every family is welcome! These events are for kids to enjoy special time with a favorite grown-up. It doesn’t have to be Mom or Dad, alliteration just sounds better! Grandparents, aunts, uncles, guardians, family friends, and other special adults are all welcome!

📚 Children must be accompanied by an adult. Students cannot attend the Book Fair during these events without a chaperone.

Entries due Friday, October 30 and can be turned in at the front office.

🎉 Every donation helps provide programs, resources, and opportunities that make a BIG difference for our students.

Carlsbad Unified is developing a Long-Range Facilities Master Plan to help guide future improvements and investments across our schools. Pacific Rim Elementary is included in the Wednesday, October 14 community workshop, and we want to make sure our Pac Rim families have a voice in the conversation.

Join us to learn what the district has heard so far, share your ideas, and help shape the priorities for the future of our school and CUSD facilities.

Before the meeting, take a few minutes to complete the Facilities Master Plan survey and share your priorities. Your feedback will help inform the conversation.

It’s picnic time! Families, join your 1st grade student for a fun-filled lunch on the Pac Rim field!

Bring a blanket or chair, your child’s favorite meal, and get ready for some fun in the sun!

Can’t make it? No worries! Every student will be included in the picnic, even if their family is unable to attend.

Oct 5: No School - Staff Development Day

Oct 7: Islands Dine Out Fundraiser
Join us at Islands for dinner 4pm to close and support Pac Rim! Islands will donate 20% of food and beverage sales back to our school. Kinder families, your teachers will be there from 5-7 PM, so stop by and say hi!

Oct 9: Lancer Day & 1st Grade Picnic
On Lancer Day, we follow the early release schedule! 💜🖤

It’s also our 1st grade picnic! 1st grade families, bring a blanket or chairs and your student’s favorite meal and enjoy lunch together on the field from 11:30 AM-12:15 PM!

Oct 12-16: Book Fair
Shop Monday-Thursday after school, Tuesday and Thursday before school, or during your child’s scheduled class time. Want to help? Check the SignUpGenius link in bio to volunteer!

Oct 13-23: Parent Teacher Conferences
All days during conferences will follow the early release schedule.

Oct 14: Facilities Master Plan Workshop 
Help make sure Pac Rim’s voice is heard! Join us at Sage Creek High School at 5pm to give input on future construction and improvements to our school.

Oct 22: Monster Mash 5-8pm
Get ready for one of Pac Rim’s most popular events! Come enjoy food, games and lots of fun with our school community. Ticket information coming soon!

Oct 26-30: Red Ribbon Week
Get ready for a dress-up day every day (school appropriate costumes can we worn on Friday). Students will learn about making healthy choices throughout the week.
