Algebra and Geometry are two areas where students typically hit a wall. Fear of failure can cause them to shut down and loose the motivation to try. I have learned what is important to struggling students and how to be effective in helping them to understand and succeed.

My name is Darryl Cifarelli and I am the founder and principal tutor of Algebra Geometry & Basic Math Tutoring. I specialize as a tutor in Algebra and Geometry. My intention is to help your child gain self-confidence and self-esteem through successfully mastering math. I provide individual instruction at your home. I am an experienced teacher with 20 years tutoring experience in the North County San Diego. I have extensive experience with a wide variety of students, textbooks, teachers, and exams. I am extremely good with simple, clear and precise explanations. I listen, observe and ask questions, and do not take anything for granted. I know when and where students get stuck and have a lot of experience with simple techniques and explanations that eliminate confusion. I help kids feel confident to ask questions and not be afraid to make mistakes. We work together as a team. I really enjoy teaching these subjects and do my best to convey this enthusiasm to my students.
