🎶 Worship Wednesday at CPA! 🎶

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
Psalms 150:6

Today, our Guardian community started the day by lifting our voices, opening our hearts, and praising the One who deserves it all.

What a beautiful reminder that every breath is an opportunity to worship!

💙❤️ We LOVE Our CPA PTF! ❤️💙

A HUGE thank you to our incredible Carlsbad Prep Academy Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) for all you do for our school, our teachers, our students, and our entire Guardian community! 🛡️

From organizing events and loving on our teachers to serving behind the scenes, creating special memories, and constantly looking for ways to make CPA even better—you truly make a difference! Your time, energy, creativity, generosity, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed.

We are so thankful for parents who don’t just send their children to CPA, but partner with us in creating a Christ-centered community where our students can learn, grow, and thrive. ✝️

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and for helping make Carlsbad Prep Academy such a special place. We are SO grateful for each of you!

đź’› Making a Difference, One Bracelet at a Time! đź’›

This month, bracelets were sold at Carlsbad Prep Academy, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our CPA Guardian community, we were able to donate an amazing $1,300 to Brittany’s Hope!

We are so proud of our students, families, and staff for coming together to support such a meaningful cause. Every bracelet represented a little more hope, love, and generosity.

Thank you, CPA, for helping make a difference!

đź’› WELCOME BACK, ANGEL! đź’›

Today was a very special day at Carlsbad Prep Academy as our students and teachers had the joy of welcoming one of our own Guardians, Angel Hernandez, back to school!

For more than a year, Angel has been courageously battling leukemia. His journey has been filled with challenges, but through it all, we have witnessed incredible strength, perseverance, and faith. Today, seeing Angel back on campus surrounded by his classmates, teachers, and friends was a moment we will never forget.

God is so good! We praise His name for carrying Angel through this journey, for giving him strength each day, and for surrounding him with a community that has continued to pray, love, and believe alongside him.

Angel, you have been missed more than you know! Your CPA family is so incredibly happy to have you back where you belong. We are celebrating YOU today and thanking God for this beautiful moment.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the courageous children and families fighting childhood cancer. 💛🎗️

Today, we celebrate a victory. We celebrate answered prayers. We celebrate hope. And most of all, we celebrate Angel!

Welcome back, Angel! Your Guardian family is so happy to see you!

🌟 Please Help Us Welcome Our Newest CPA Staff Members! 🌟

We are so excited to welcome Britnie Sanchez, Natalie Mackey, and Kristi Naylor to the Carlsbad Prep Academy family!

🍎Britnie Sanchez – Kindergarten Instructional Aide

This is Britnie’s first year working in education, and she has already found it to be a wonderful experience! She is a huge animal lover with 8 dogs and 2 cats and is currently enrolled at Southeastern New Mexico College (SENMC) as she works toward earning her teaching degree. Britnie is excited about the years ahead, and we are thrilled to have her joining our team!

🍎 Natalie Mackey – 1st Grade Teacher

Natalie earned her teaching degree from Western Governors University and brings 12 years of experience in education, including 10 years teaching in Wyoming before her family moved to Carlsbad two years ago.

Natalie is grateful to be part of a school community that aligns with her values and allows her the autonomy to do what she believes is best for her students. She believes every child is uniquely created by God and deserves to feel loved, valued, encouraged, and supported. Her classroom is rooted in kindness, grace, patience, joy, and a love for learning.

She is looking forward to partnering with families and making this a wonderful year filled with learning, growing, and special memories!

🍎Kristi Naylor – Jr. High Math Teacher

Kristi Naylor is our new Jr. High math teacher! Kristi is beginning her 32nd year in the classroom. After retiring for two years, she felt a calling to return because she knew she still had more to offer—and she quickly discovered that teaching really is like riding a bike!

Kristi says CPA is an amazing place to rejoin the workforce. She especially appreciates the small class sizes and the autonomy to control the pace and flow of her classroom, allowing her to better meet each student’s individual needs.

We are incredibly grateful to have these three wonderful educators joining our team. Their experience, passion, faith, and heart for students will be such a blessing to our school community!

Please join us in giving Britnie, Natalie, and Kristi a warm CPA welcome! We are blessed to have you as part of the Guardian family! 💙🛡️
