Many materials follow a “drill and kill” method of learning aspects of writing, particularly grammar. We want students to discover the function of language and successfully brainstorm their language to build strong sentences, paragraphs, essays, and narratives. Writing Adventures works for students, teachers, parents, tutors, and other professionals because it provides a positive, engaging, structured opportunity to explore writing.
