Did you know that I offer more than piano lessons? Here is the list of my class offerings:
Piano lessons
Ages 5 through adult. Topics include development of music theory, ear training, proper hand position and technic, sight reading, memory skills, rhythm, and how to play songs. Students will build confidence, develop musical skills, and enjoy making music from the first lesson.
Beginning guitar lessons
Ages 7 through 10. Topics include development of Treble Clef staff reading, how to read TAB, proper finger technic, how to tune the guitar, how to read chord charts, how to play chords, and how to play simple songs. Great in a buddy lesson format!
Beginning ballet lessons
Ages 7 through adult. Cecchetti ballet lessons from a certified Cecchetti instructor. Students learn classical ballet through a curriculum that builds strength, flexibility, and artistry while maintaining technical excellence. Online classes will focus on barre work to build the strength, foundation, and knowledge for center ballet work (turns, leaps, across the floor moves).
Music history lessons
Students learn how music has evolved across cultures, centuries, and continents. This class explores the rich history of music from ancient times to today. Students will learn about different musical styles, famous composers, and how music has changed across cultures and time periods. Students will develop a deeper appreciation for music and its role in history and everyday life.
Music for Little Mozarts classes
Focuses on developing musical skills for 5 to 7 year old students by learning piano, singing, rhythm, and music appreciation. Students follow along with Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear as they learn about music. Parents are asked to sit in the class or be nearby due to the younger age.
EZ Play Piano
Geared for teens and adults. Students learn the basics of staff reading, focusing on playing the melody with the right hand and chords with the left hand. A non-traditional approach to learning the piano, so the student will learn to play melodies they know and love quickly.
Old Testament Bible history for kids I
Geared for ages 7 through 11. Students are introduced to the beginning of the Bible, from creation through the early history of God’s people. Students will explore well-known stories about Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Joseph, and Moses, learning how God guided and cared for His people. Students will begin to understand key events, important people, and the big picture of God’s plan.
Old Testament Bible history for kids II
Geared for ages 7 through 11. Building on Old Testament Bible history for kids I, this class continues the story of God’s people from their journey into the Promised Land through the time of kings and prophets. Students will learn about figures like Joshua, David, Solomon, Elijah, and others, discovering lessons about courage, faith, and obedience. Students will see how God remained faithful to His people throughout history.
