Letโs Talk About Bullying ๐
As we begin a new school year, we want to remind our families about the importance of kindness, respect, and looking out for one another.
Bullying is more than just a disagreement or a single unkind moment. It involves REPEATED behavior that is hurtful, harmful, or intimidating and can have a lasting impact on a student.
We encourage parents to take a few minutes to talk with your child about:
โจ What bullying looks like
โจ The importance of treating others with kindness and respect
โจ Speaking up when they see someone being hurt or left out
โจ Telling a trusted adult if they or someone else is experiencing bullying
โจ Including others and being a good friend
๐ฌ A simple conversation at home can make a big difference! Remind your student that their words and actions matter and that everyone deserves to feel safe, welcomed, and respected at school.
If you have questions or concerns regarding bullying or your studentโs well-being, please reach out to school administration or the school counselor. We are here to help!
๐ Be kind. Be respectful. Be an upstander. Letโs work together to create a safe and positive school community! ๐
