Before a hard conversation, a big decision, or a message that matters, run three questions in sequence rather than one vague check:
What’s actually driving me here? (Motivation)
What, specifically, am I committing to say or do? (Intention)
What outcome do I want this to produce? (Outcome)

What you intend to say isn’t always the same as what the other person hears.
