Wow, it’s so hard to wrap my head around the fact, summer camps over. My big kids are all going to school this week. I must say though I am super excited that everyone was able to stay together except for 3,however 2 of those are at the same school. That just leaves Miss Freyja and well she’s family so I can see her anytime I want.🤣

This week we will be welcoming a new student, Ashton. He is 4 years old and is excited to meet everyone and join us in our new learning adventure this year.

Tomorrow we start the new lunch menu. If you didn’t receive a copy of it let either Bubbie (Lori) or I know and we will get you one. Lunch for tomorrow will be Macaroni and Cheese, veggies, fruit and drink.

Our theme for this week will be Back to School .

If anyone is interested in donating we could use the following:
Clorox wipes
Tissues
Kleenex hand towels
Construction paper
Stickers/ stamps for folders or work papers
Outfits for Daisy the Goose

The first of our Scholastic Book Club flyers will be coming home this week.

TEN.. 10 more days of Summer Fun before school begins.
This week is Ocean Week.
Monday:
Snack: Sylvie
Ocean Animal: Shark. We will be learning about the shark, what they eat, where they live, parts of their bodies as well as making shark headbands and having shark bait for a snack.

Tuesday:
Snack: Ava
Cooking : Making turtle cupcakes

Wednesday:
Snack: Bella
Ocean Animal: Jellyfish, we will learn about where they live , their life cycle, their life span and some fun facts about them. We also have a fun craft planned.

Thursday:
Snack: Logan
Craft: Ocean Animal Mobile

Friday:
Snack: Zeke
Ocean Animal: Octopus, we will have octopus jello with our lunch as well as learn about their body , habitat and what they eat. I also have a super cool craft planned.

Friday will also be show and tell however it’s ocean animal themed this week. Bring your favorite ocean animal for show and tell.

Lunch for Thursday and Friday are being switched this week so we can celebrate all together then end of summer. Bubbie and I will order pizza and Rita’s for everyone. If anyone wants to bring something to add to our celebration just let us know.

Just a reminder Bubbie is having surgery Wednesday afternoon so she will be out the rest of the week. When she returns she will have a NO lifting restriction.

Vacation is almost over, who will be the first child waiting on the door step?🤣
I hope everyone had a great break , was able to relax , make some memories, and enjoy quality time together.
I can’t believe we only have 11 more days of camp left.This summer has definitely flew by .
I had to change the movie field trip from Wednesday to Tuesday due to a transportation conflict. So here is this weeks schedule:

Monday:
Snack: Ace
Craft: Stepping Stones (this craft will take all week to finish so they won’t be brought home till Friday)

Tuesday:
Snack: Maleigha
Field Trip: Movies, Minnions: The Rise of Gru. Cost $1.00 Time: 10:00am

Wednesday:

Cooking: Stuffed Cookies

Thursday:

Special: Water Day! This is for everyone. Bring your suit, towel and water gun( if you want). We will have a sprinkler, water table, games, water guns, water balloons and tons of laughs and fun.

Friday: Daycare will be closed for Maddie’s 18th Birthday weekend celebration. 🎉 🎂🥳

* we will also be wishing Emmett a very Happy 3rd Birthday on Sunday as well. ( yes Emmett, Maddie and Max all have the same birthday. ) 🧁🎁🎈

*The Truck show at the fairgrounds is Thursday-Saturday this week. Be prepared for traffic.

I can’t believe we only have 3 more weeks of summer camp left. This is the last week of activities for July . Daycare will be closed Monday July 27-Friday July 31 for our vacation.

Monday:
Snack: Kennedy
Field Trip: Hershey Butterfly Garden. Cost: $13.50 per child
Time: We will be leaving daycare at 8:30am. Please make sure your child is here if they are going . They should be back at daycare by 2:00pm . Your child will need a packed lunch with a drink and should wear comfortable walking shoes. It states that if you wear white, yellow,orange,pink or red butterflies are attracted to these colors and are more likely to land on you.

Anyone staying at daycare will be playing with puzzles and hopefully getting outside.

Tuesday:
Snack: Bubbie
Cooking: Dunkaroo Dip

Wednesday:
Snack: Layton
Field Trip: Movies: The Bad Guys 2, Cost $1.00 Time: 10am
Activity: Beach Ball Games

Thursday:
Snack: Zion
Craft: Sun Catchers
Field Trip: Jubilee Mini Mansions Cost: $15.00 plus $3.00 for grippy sock( required) Each child going MUST have a waiver filled out and submitted to them. You can find them at Jubileecakestudio.com (the pink square in the top right corner, select sign our Waiver) . This trip will be after lunch so no need to pack anything.

Friday:

Special: Show and Tell
Activity: Science Experiments.

Due to the National Weather Service issuing a Code Purple tomorrow for the air quality, water day will be postponed. Once the air quality is safe for everyone to be outside again we will set a new date. Sorry for any inconvenience.

This is our new addition to daycare. We adopted a porch goose. The kids had a great time naming her. Please meet Daisy Isabella Goosie. She is sporting here yellow summer bikini. Amazon has so many outfit for your goose. If anyone would be interested in gifting her a special outfit she would be happy to wear it.

Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We have a lot going on this week( not that we don’t most weeks) but this weeks took some extra time and studying to plan. We will see if the kids think I passed. 🤣

Monday:
Snack: Sylvie
Special: Mario Day! We will have games, special treats, prizes, and much more. Wear your Mario gear if you have any. Other options would be a green or red shirt. If you have a Mario or Friend Stuffy you may bring them as well. Fingers crossed I can pull this off. It’s been a while since I was in Mario World. 🤞

Tuesday:
Snack: Ava
Activity: Obstacle Course ( rain date from 7/6) Make sure to wear good running shoes. We have lots of activities planned for this.
FIELD TRIP: Paulus Farms , Cost: FREE, Time: 12:30 If your child signed up for this trip they will need to bring a book along, either from home or they may borrow one of ours to read to the animals.

Wednesday:
Snack:Logan
FIELD TRIP: Movies, The Wild Robot. Cost $1.00 Time: 10:00( we will leave here @9:15.
Activity: Floor is Lava game

Thursday:
Snack: Bella
Craft: Stepping Stones.

Friday:

As I’m sure you heard we welcomed a new family into our group this week. Riley is a sweet 2 year old little boy who is always smiling and loves Dino’s. (My Dino posse is getting bigger.🤣)

With the crazy weather situation here are a few updates.

Today instead of doing our obstacle course/ field day we played some new games we got. I think the kids really enjoyed them.

Tomorrow’s field trip to Paulus Farm to read to the animals has been postponed due to power outages.

As of right now the rest of the week will stay the same.

The new date for our field day / obstacle course will be Tuesday July 14th. This will also be the new date for Paulus Farms reading to the animals field trip.

Hopefully the weather calms down and we can continue with our planned activities.

Wow, how can it be the last week of June already? I guess the saying is true, “ Time Flies When You’re Having Fun!” And boy have we had some fun this month.
As we continue the fun and close out the month here is this weeks short list of activities.

Monday:
Snack: Chris
Field Trip: Lake Tobias Wildlife Park cost $ 23.00. Please bring a packed lunch, wear weather appropriate clothes an comfortable shoes. We will be having lunch while at the park . We will be leaving daycare at 9 am and are expecting to return by 3 pm.
Activity:Anyone staying is going to do Sidewalk Chalk.

Tuesday:

Cooking: 4th of July Dirt Pudding

Wednesday: Happy July 1st

Field Trip: Dogman movie. Cost $1.00 Maleigha Logan Zeke
Activity: 4th of July Bingo, games and fun facts. * wear your Red white and blue.

Daycare will be closed Thursday and Friday for a long holiday weekend. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

As the Bake Sale and Lemonade Stand came to a close this past Friday, the profits were calculated. And once again you guys impressed. The total raised at the bake sale was$160.00 and the Lemonades Stand raised $100.00. The bake sale money will go to new toys/learning equipment the kids picked. The money raised from the Lemonade stand will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand and be used for Children’s cancer research . Thank you to everyone that baked, brought, bought,donated and supported our kids this week. They worked very hard and were very proud of themselves.
