Teamwork & Creativity🏗️📚

Our 6th graders put teamwork and creativity to the test with a fun Similarity Tower challenge! Students worked together to identify something they all had in common, earning a card for each similarity. Then, they had to bend and balance their cards to build the tallest tower possible!

A little creativity, collaboration, and friendly competition made for a great learning experience! 💛🖤

Our 6th Grade students are learning that working together takes communication, collaboration, and a good plan! 🧩✨ They worked in small groups to complete a 100-piece puzzle—first without the picture and then with it. This gave them the opportunity to practice teamwork while their teacher observed leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving strategies.

Afterward, students reflected on what was easy and what was difficult using sticky notes. Their reflections will help the class create small-group norms that will guide how they work together throughout the year! 💛📚

Our 3rd graders are building a strong foundation for multiplication! 🔢✨

This week students have been making equal groups during counting collections. These hands-on activities are helping them see how groups can represent quantities and preparing them to make connections to multiplication! 🧮💡

Second grade is all about building friendships and learning how to manage big feelings! 💛

After reading Our Class Is a Family, our second graders made friendship bracelets to celebrate the special bonds we share in our classroom. 🧵💗

They also read Alma and the Worry Stone and students created their own worry stones as a reminder that it’s okay to have worries—and that we can find ways to help ourselves feel better. 🪨✨
