🥊 TEAM LUCAS GETS THE WIN! 🥊

What a weekend for Abel Lucas and the Scrap Yard team!

We traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to Legends Casino in Washington for Abel’s professional boxing debut — and Abel came home with a VICTORY! 🏆🔥

This win is about so much more than what happened in the ring. It represents the countless hours of training, the late nights and early mornings, the hard rounds, the fundamental repetitions, the hundreds of miles of roadwork, and the overall commitment it takes to step into the professional ranks.

Abel, thank you. Thank you for your dedication to the Scrap Yard Boxing Club and for the example you continue to set for everyone around you. You are not only a talented fighter, but a leader who genuinely wants to see everyone at the club grow and succeed. That means a lot to us.

To the entire Team Lucas — thank you for the work, sacrifices, and commitment that made this trip and this victory possible. To Mark Mazzeo and All Gloves Boxing, thank you, I wouldn't have been able to make the trip without your generosity and mentorship.
Boxing is an individual sport inside the ring, but nobody gets there alone.

We are incredibly proud of Abel and everything he represents.

Professional debut. First victory. And this is only the beginning. 🥊🔥

Congratulations, Abel! Keep punching. Keep growing. Keep leading. We do hard things. We wish for the water to be cold. Rock by rock.

TEAM LUCAS!

We are saddened to learn that former heavyweight contender George Chuvalo has passed away at the age of 89.

Chuvalo, who fought Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Joe Frazier, was never knocked down in 93 professional fights.

"He's the toughest guy I ever fought," Muhammad Ali reflected after their first fight.

Rest in peace, George. 🌹
